God really knows how to cheer me up.
I was reading a Max Lucado book & my godmum slash pastor slash best mentor in the whole entire world walks up to me & asks me what I’m reading. So I hold it up, & she tells me how she has some of his books & how they’re all really good & she goes all, I can see why you’d like reading his books.

my hands are shaky as i write this.
i woke up in the morning to my bedspread & pillow cases all taken out, my comforter & i on the floor, my medications already taken & with sweat trickling down my chest.
i’ve been sleepwalking. & i’ve been sleeptalking. & it’s really scaring me.

Crunch time.
It’s exam season again, & after this round is over, it’s on to the trials, then the final year papers which will mark the end of my high school life. In between, I have to fit in journo duty, trips out of state, & not to mention the long, meticulous time waiting in between- Just waiting for the nights to pass, for this & that situation to end, for everything...

Some days, especially lately, I want to die- Die die, no more oxygen die, lifeless die.
But then a miracle always intervenes. A friendly phone-call, a hug that doesn’t let go, a normal scripture suddenly filled with meaning. & if I’m still sad, weeping only lasts for a night. Joy really does come in the morning.
& then I want to live again.
